Viasat Hockey is the only dedicated ice hockey channel in Sweden and Finland.
Viasat Hockey was launched in September 2009 as an addition to Viasat Sport, Viasat Fotboll, Viasat Motor, Viasat Sport HD and Viasat Golf in Sweden and to Viasat Sport, Viasat Sport HD and Viasat Golf in Finland. Viasat Hockey was launched in Norway in October 2010.
Viasat Hockey is broadcast between 13:00 and 02:00 every day (and substantially longer during the NHL season).
The first Viasat Sport channel was launched in the Nordic region in March 1999.
Viasat Hockey is available through Viasat’s digital satellite TV platforms in Sweden and Finland and is also distributed via third party cable TV and IPTV networks.
