P5 entertains listeners in Norway’s four largest cities – Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim and Stavanger – where it offers local news, traffic and updates. And plays the biggest hits.
P5 was launched on 4 January 2010. The Norwegian authority Medietilsynet awarded MTG the local radio licenses on 16 March 2009.
P5 complements P4 Radio Hele Norge, the national commercial radio network which was launched on 15 September 1993, and provides local broadcasts in cities with a total of two million potential listeners.
