TV6 is a broad general interest and entertainment channel with a similar profile to Viasat4 in Norway and TV3+ in Denmark. TV6 is skewed towards male viewers. This version of the logotype is used in Sweden.
The launch of TV6 in Sweden on 9 May 2006 is considered MTG's most successful launch of a commercial free-TV channel ever. TV6 has since been introduced in Latvia (April 2007), Hungary (January 2008), Estonia (March 2008) and Lithuania (September 2008). In Hungary the name was changed to Viasat6 in February 2011.
TV6 is available through Viasat’s digital satellite TV platform in Sweden and the Baltic states, also in the digital terrestrial network and through IPTV networks in Sweden and cable TV networks in all countries.
