MTG Radio was certified according to the environmental ISO Standard 14001 on 14 April 2010. This makes MTG Radio an environmental role-model in its line of business.
The aim of the ISO standard is to define ‘best practice’ for proactive environmental work 
which is to result in a reduced environmental impact.
MTG Radio has, within the ISO framework, analysed its environmental impact and set clear targets for its environmental work. Since MTG Radio’s negative influence on the environment is minimal, its focus is also on awareness creation and positively influencing its listeners. Two examples of awareness campaigns, which are done in collaboration with the World Wide Fund for Nature, are Earth Hour and Save the Baltic Sea.
MTG Radio is the first ISO certified radio network in the world, a role-model within its sector. Additionally this achievement sends a strong signal of environmental commitment to both consumers and clients.
